Players of Sharks and Dolphins might from today take up permanent residence at the Rivers State government house.

This follows the failure of the authorities to pay both teams sign on fees from previous season as agreed.

Two weeks ago players from the two state owned clubs had blocked off a section of the entrance to the state government house in protest of their unpaid money.

The state deputy governor who eventually received the players into government house on that day had promised the players that they would be paid in two weeks time and even told them to go ahead and borrow money as being a man of integrity they could be rest assured their money would come as he had promised.

But the two weeks elapsed this past Tuesday and the players are still yet to be paid.
